Hard-working, deep-penetrating cleaner that degreases all filters without harm to the media. This product is a professional strength filter cleaner designed to remove scale, soapy residues, body oils, and grime from sand, cartridge, and diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters. Here are some key features:

• Improves Filter Efficiency: Regular use helps maintain adequate water flow and improves filter efficiency.
• Versatile: Works on all filter types, regardless of the sanitizer used.

Applications:

• Sand Filters: Add 8 to 16 ounces into the skimmer with the pump running and the filter in backwash position.
  • Deep Clean: Add 16 to 32 ounces directly into the filter media and let it soak for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Cartridge and D.E. Filters: Remove filter media from the holding tank, spray the cleaner directly on the filter pleats, let it stand for at least 5 minutes, then rinse with clean water.
  • Deep Clean: Add 16 ounces to 3-5 gallons of fresh water in a non-metallic vessel, soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse.
